Sesikeli Winery

EXPERIENCE SESIKELI WINERY

Exquisite wine! 8,000 years of traditional Georgian wine-making techniques shine through in every bottle. Sesikeli is the very definition of natural and handmade!

OUR HERITAGE

Sesikeli Winery is a small family-run business producing approximately 6,000 bottles a year.  It began with 100 liter qvevris in the ground to the current capacity of 5,000 liters. The focus, however, still remains on creating a quality product using the qvevri method throughout.

OUR VINEYARDS/WINES

Alazani Valley is the most fertile land in Georgia for a range of grape varieties. With the range of the Caucasus mountains, the temperature is balanced in this region and  the grapes reap all the benefits.

THE WINEMAKERS JOURNEY

Simon Sesikashveli began his wine journey with a vision to produce wine using the methods his ancestors in Telavi and Shalauri used before the Soviet occupation. He prides himself in producing high quality, low intervention wines that are Georgian through-and-through.
