Georgia, the cradle of wine, has been making wine for over 8,000 years. It is home to the world's oldest wine making traditions. Archaeologists discovered large amphorae with remnants of wine from 8000 years ago. Imagine sipping a wine that connects you to centuries of history!

Ranging from the dark red Saperavi to the light and vibrant Rkatsiteli. At Van Horn Imports, we're all about unique flavors, sustainability and community.
The grapes are crushed with a mill, and the juice along with the skins (and sometimes the seeds and stems) are placed in a large clay vase called a qvevri to ferment. This creates the rich, complex and full-bodied flavor that Georgian wines are known for.
